Another Call for Prayer

Wade, Ferris and their two little girls, Adleigh and Liana, are in need of prayer right now.  There are several new health concerns with their girls.  Wade posted one of the most inspiring posts I think I’ve ever read and it actually brought me to tears.  Ferris posted specifics on her blog for prayer.  Please read and cover them in specific, sun stand still prayers.

This family, all four of them, have been teaching me so much.  Wade and Ferris have been straight up preaching to us all on their blogs throughout this whole process.  They have been living out this verse:

Romans 12:11-13

11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

It all makes me think of the woman in Matthew 9 who had so much faith she knew all she needed was to touch Jesus and she’d be healed and He said to her, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.”  Then in Matthew 15 a woman’s daughter is suffering and the Lord told her that because of her great faith, her request would be granted.  How many times when He did a miracle did Jesus say “Go in PEACE, your faith has healed you”!  Faith is powerful thing.  It holds the power to heal when you bring your troubles and worries to Him.  I can’t wait to hear that because of the faith that Wade and Ferris have shown, their daughters are healed and home with them sooner than anyone imagined possible.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to cover them in prayer and that they are allowing us to follow along in the journey.
