So I found two entirely amusing videos with some highlights from the Euro 2008 championship game between Spain and Germany. The one above is mostly highlights and pretty good quality. Yes, it is in Spanish. I still think you should watch it though. If you really want to find the most awesome (and most amusing) moment though, look at about 1:30. That’s when Torres makes an insane goal. While that is awesome, I think my favorite part of the video is the commentators when they start yelling “Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!” and it lasts forever. Love it. That’s how they roll in Spain.
Spain celebrates – España celebra
Probably the most amusing video about the whole championship. It follows the team’s return to Spain and the celebration in Madrid. I’m most amused by all that they show that happened on the airplane ride home. Even the flight attendants get in on the fun. It’s really hilarious. Then the crowds in the streets of Madrid that they show. Man it would have been so cool to be there. And then they start singing Queen’s “We are the Champions”. You can tell they’re a little happy (probably in more ways than one).
